04.24.18: Nate and Kathy were great, super helpful, friendly and human. It's great that Metro Solar 1) has someone answering the phone, and 2) services old hot water solar panels. I've been calling around and these two things are not everywhere! Just a little unsure on the price, but knock off 15% and they would totally have my business! Nate really seems knowledgeable.

When our converter went out they promptly sent someone out to have a look and it was still under warranty. Nice surprise! I can't say enough good things about you and the guys who removed and re-installed my thermal solar panels. They were always professional, on time (actually a little early as they prepared to do the job), courteous, answered any questions that I had and did a very good clean up after they finished. They replaced some parts that really improved everything aesthetically. Everything is working well and looks better than it originally did.

12.06.17:  We had an old hot water solar system removed and they did a quality job. Every piece of equipment was removed including the 5 extremely large panels on the roof. and 2 120 gallon storage tanks. They did an excellent job, hauled everything away and cleaned up afterward.

12.05.17:  On 11/9/17 Nate serviced my drain back system and immediately diagnosed the problem: a bad controller. He had the new controller on the truck, and efficiently replaced it. Unfortunately, a thermostat was left unhooked. Nate came back up to my house on his own dime and tried to resolve the problem. He was not able to wire the thermostat into the system. I was faced with a costly solution to the problem. The next day Nate contacted me with an alternative solution; one that was essentially already in place. With his advice, I was able to regain my thermostat control with no cost whatsoever. Nate has worked on this system before when I got a new roof. I was impressed with him then, I'm super impressed with him now! As far as I'm concerned, his new name should be "Nate the Great!" Thank you Metro Solar, but especially, thank you Nate!

11.18.17:  Nate showed up on time (in Conifer!) and explained our system to my husband, as we are brand new to solar. He was very helpful and explained it all well.

The guys are awesome - great personalities, good workers, polite, clean up great (well they clean up the job site - I do notknow how well they "clean up" personally!!!) always on time or earlier than promised, very skilled in their work!!! Please give them gold stars and a raise???  No, they did not pay me to say that - they don't even know that I am writing to you.  Seriously, all three of them were great!

07.06.15: I was impressed with the employees and their knowledge and expertise. I used this company after a bad storm. They worked well with me and the insurance company. The schedule was easy to work around and the repair was timely. I would recommend them to others. I also liked that their work is warranted. 03.29.15: The work actually done was to remove the solar panels so the roof could be re-shingled and then to reinstall the panels on the new roof. The work was done efficiently and neatly. The technicians checked to be certain everything was working properly. Dave and his personnel were patient with the time required for the roofing to be completed, a couple of weeks of snow which finally melted and the final inspection before they could re-install the panels. Good job.

05.10.14: I had a 30-year old inoperative solar hot water system that needed removal. Dave called me back within 2 hours and offered to come out the next day and remove the whole system at a reasonable price. When I described the system over the phone he knew exactly what type of system it was, even though it was decades old. That's a man who knows his trade. I strongly echo the other positive ratings on this site and highly recommend this company.

03.08.14: Quickly and safely removed entire 30-year-old solar hot water system after water tank failed. Answered all questions and talked me through the process as I watched them work. Not sure how they compare with other solar companies in terms of cost, but their experience and quality work were worth every penny.
